文芳伴娘：他们大晒幸福 把我当透明！ 28 September 2009  采访/摄影：林雯莹 部分照片：Keith Png提供 Keith Png：伴娘礼服不拘谨 方便闹新郎  本地著名设计师Keith Png在5月为文芳注册日设计礼服后，即开始着手设计8位伴娘的礼服。他也包办李铭顺的婆婆和母亲，范文芳的母亲和姐姐的晚装。Keith告诉新动网，文芳在设计方面完全信任他，唯一的要求，就是长辈的晚装，能符合晚会的英式印度风主题。  伴娘礼服以米白色为主，轻松却不失时尚感，最重要的是不会太拘谨，因为这样才能让女生们闹新郎！  Keith说：“礼服也有遮瑕的效果，腹部方面不会太紧身，伴娘能尽情地吃、尽情地玩！”  范文芳妹妹范汶青和设计师Keith。 Keith把礼服分成两系列，一系列具立体感，适合比较活泼的如莫小玲，另一系列设计较柔美，适合比较可爱、腼腆的女生，如姚懿珊和宋怡霏。  当然，伴娘礼服设计固然漂亮，但绝对不会抢走范文芳的锋头。也难怪易凌会说，她一点都没有压力，因为当晚的范文芳，一定会是最闪亮的新娘。  Keith Png为伴娘团设计礼服。

WHY

 

To herald the premiere of the fourth season of the deliciously wicked hit TV series TOP CHEF – Sony Entertainment Television (SET, mioTV ch 20) is collaborating with talented local designer, Keith Png, to create an exclusive pair of sexy aprons to be sold to the public. All proceeds will go to the channel’s adopted charity – the Singapore Breast Cancer Foundation (BCF).

 

WHO  

Keith Png is no stranger to the local fashion scene. Dresses by this design extraordinaire have been seen on countless local celebrities (think Fann Wong’s marvelous tulle dress worn during her ROM) and even Taiwanese model Lin Chi Ling! 

 

Keith gave his time and effort to the cause by designing a ‘For Her’ and ‘For Him’ set of aprons – the former inspired by the classic Marilyn Monroe halter dress and the latter, based on the very suave tuxedo, complete with a black bow tie – all set to up the haute factor in the kitchen!

 

 

HOW

From 12 September, you can pick up the delectable Aprondisiacs at our roving on-ground sales along Orchard Road (on 12 September only!), at Keith Png’s retail store Hide & Seek and culinary school Coriander Leaf, or even simply with a click of the mouse at Cozycot.com.

 

Each Aprondisiac will be retailing at SGD40.00. Online purchases at Cozycot.com will have an additional 5% bank surcharge of SGD2.10 (total cost SGD42.10), with free delivery by SET. Rest assured that the full proceeds of SGD40.00 per apron will still go entirely to BCF.

 

The Aprondisiacs will also be available at upcoming on-ground events with BCF and Cozycot. More details are provided below.

Catch Keith Png on "Fashion Asia" Premieres 28 July, Every Tue, 8.30pm on Ch "U"

FASHION ASIA is a half-hour programme fronted by different celebrities such as, Fann Wong, Christopher Lee, Felicia Chin, Michelle Chia, Phyllis Quek, Kym Ng and Bryan Wong in each episode. It brings viewers on a fashion-forward trip to check out Asia’s fashion hotbeds and hunt down the snazziest clothing and accessories. 

Each country has its own style culture and philosophy and the works of local fashion designers exhibit that unique culture. Together with each week’s celebrity, Singapore fashion designer, Keith Png will be recommending beauty and apparels must-haves. He will be dishing out tips on how to flaunt one’s best feature and play down concealable flaws in a mix-and-match session. 

Since their marriage solemnization in May, this will be the first “honeymoon” for Fann and Christopher as the pair goes shopping for stylish wedding necessities in Japan. Viewers are in for a treat!

Julie Hewett''s Up close & Personal Make up workshop held last saturday,23rd May, turned out as a huge success,with local celebrity make up artist-Ginger Lynette lee, sharing her trade's secrets with two very concised class, of maximum intake for 5 persons only.  

The small scale class allowed Ginger to focus on everyone's questions,and for her to demonstrate different make up techniques that are suitable for the individuals using products from Julie Hewett.

Go Red For Women presented by MasterCard, in conjunction with the Audi fashion Festival 2009, brings you an auction of 10 little red dresses for a cause. Three limited edition red samsung UltraTouch mobile phones with customised pouches are also up for bidding.

All proceeds from the auction will benefit the Singapore Heart Foundation's Go Red For Women campaign. Symbolised by the little red dress, the campaign aims to empower women in their fight against heart disease and stroke.

“Inspired by the deep red carnation flower which symbolizes one’s aching heart of love, I have created my dress using 21 silk satin strips cut on the bias and sewn down on the raw silk bodice to create the curves and layers which resemble the petals of a carnation,” said Keith Png.
